Elvis Festival Cruise - Day 1 and 2

Elvis Festival Birthday Cruise 2018 – Day 1 and 2

Elvis Festival Cruise - Day 1 and 2

Excitement filled the air as Elvis fans flocked onto Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas. As we began decorating our doors to establish the fandom’s presence, the cruise was gearing up to celebrate Elvis’s 83rd birthday.

With packets, t-shirts, schedules and more waiting for us in our room, we were set up for success of seeing every show offered aboard the ship. (Both Elvis shows and the ship’s entertainment.)

After wandering around the ship, the muster drill, and getting ready for dinner, the first show was ready to begin. This set up was a rotating track show giving he performers an opportunity to see different venues and the crowd to have better seating.

With performances from Brad Mitchell, Austin Irby, and Ultimate Elvis Dwight Icenhower, we were ready with drinks in hand and Elvis on our ears.

The cruise was off to an amazing start and got us ready for a weeklong celebration. Between the entertainment and the ship itself, this cruise was one of the best cruises I had ever. Having the largest casino at sea, I was ready to win some money on their slot machines!

Elvis, Gambling, Cruising, oh my! The first day was an excellent introduction to what this cruise would be become.

By day 2, the first full day of the cruise, us Elvis fans were ready to rock the boat. Sherry Management had us jammed pack with fun!

Beginning the day with a fun ETA Celebrity Jeopardy, (never play Elvis trivia with Dwight or Dean Z… you’ll lose) the Elvis cruise was off to an incredible start. Giving us plenty of time for lunch and wandering around the ship, we were ready for our Matinee Concert!

This concert featured performances by Brad Mitchell, Travis Powell, Riley Jenkins, and Ryan Pelton.
